Employment problems in the labor market of the Republic of Uzbekistan and strategic approaches to their solution
Abstract
This article examines current employment challenges in the labor market of the Republic of Uzbekistan and proposes strategic solutions aimed at sustainable job creation. It examines the underlying causes of unemployment, including the structural imbalance between labor supply and demand, the mismatch between educational outcomes and market needs, external economic shocks, and limited financial and institutional resources. Particular attention is paid to vulnerable groups of the population, as well as the role of entrepreneurship and labor migration in addressing challenges in the labor market of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
