Pedagogical models of independent learning in the discipline “Academic skills and professional competence”: analysis and recommendations based on modern technologies

Authors

Abstract

This article examines the organization of students’ independent learning activities in the course "Academic Skills and Professional Competence." It analyzes how contemporary pedagogical models — such as constructivism, blended learning, the flipped classroom, and project-based learning — play a crucial role in developing students’ cognitive and metacognitive skills. Particular attention is given to the potential of effectively organizing independent learning through modern digital technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), artificial intelligence (AI) tools, and interactive educational resources. As a result, a comprehensive pedagogical model for independent learning in this discipline has been developed, accompanied by scientifically grounded methodological recommendations for its practical implementation.
