For the successful innovative development of Russia and the country's regions, new approaches and management technologies are needed, based on the latest scientific achievements and world experience. In the context of globalization and internationalization of the world economy, the cluster approach to the management of industries and regions of the Russian Federation is becoming the leading strategy for the socio-economic development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, providing innovative development and increasing the competitiveness of the economy, both in individual regions and the country as a whole. The exceptional significance of the choice of cluster models for managing the economic development of regions puts this problem into the category of having special state significance.
