Abstract

The article presents a cybernetic interpretation of the transformation of economic systems in the context of digitalization. It is argued that the evolution of economic thought reflects the progressive identification of different types of feedback loops, including negative, positive, and informational feedback mechanisms. The study demonstrates that the digital economy operates predominantly through reinforcing mechanisms such as network effects and algorithmic governance, which limits the applicability of traditional equilibrium-based theories. Special attention is given to institutional reforms in the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at developing the digital economy and improving economic efficiency. An integrated cybernetic-economic model is proposed, taking into account the interaction between markets, information, technologies, and institutions.
