Factors for Improving the Competitiveness of Urban Agglomerations in the Republic of Uzbekistan

This article provides a systematic analysis of the key factors that ensure the competitiveness of urban agglomerations in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Approaches are considered in terms of infrastructural, economic, managerial, environmental, and human capital factors. The article analyzes international experience and local contexts using content analysis, comparative analysis, and empirical approaches. A combination of several methodological approaches was used to analyze the competitiveness of urban agglomerations. Competitiveness criteria were assessed using urban indicators. In conclusion, the need for an integrated strategic approach to achieve success for urban agglomerations in the context of global competition is substantiated.
