Green Economy in the Republic of Uzbekistan: Characteristics of Renewable Energy Sources

Abstract

The use of renewable energy sources is becoming a key element of the "green" economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This article analyzes current trends and successes in Uzbekistan's transition to renewable energy sources, as well as the main challenges and prospects for developing sustainability across the board. The authors demonstrate how renewable energy sources can reduce the shortage of traditional energy sources, improve the environment, and create new jobs. They also explore ways to stimulate the use of renewable energy sources in the national economy.
