Abstract

The geopolitical significance of the Moscow transport hub is determined by its exceptionally favorable geographical position at the intersection of traffic flows from Northern Europe to the South and from Western Europe to the East, and is also associated with the huge role played by the region as one of the largest centers of cargo formation and absorption with practically unlimited capacity of the commodity market.
