In the context of the globalization of the world economy, Russia's transition to an innovative path of development, transport is considered as the most important factor in the socio-economic growth of the Russian state, ensuring: the unity of the country's economic space; improvement of interregional and international transport and economic relations; rationalization of the distribution of productive forces; increasing the efficiency of the use of natural resources and the socio-economic potential of the regions of the country; expansion of international cooperation; development of export of transport services and implementation of the country's transit potential in the system of international transport corridors.
